The Acai Berry Scam Diets Continue…

Here is a message I received from one of my subscribers. This absolutely pisses me off. All of these scam diets use Google Adwords to drive unsuspecting buyers to their sites and offer them a free trial only to “steal” money from them:
“I just want to make you aware that I clicked on a link from your web site for
acai berry and some type of cleansing free trial. After ordering them they sold my card
number to another company who in turn charged my card with $89.31 with out my
permission. When I read the privacy policy on acai berry web site it says they will
sell your information. Just letting you know so you can take that link off your web site.”

I have decided not to use “Google” ads on my sites anymore because I can’t be associated with this sort of “Scam”. It is my job to expose the scams not perpetuate them.
Here’s a tip: Any website that says “Acai Berry Diet Cleanse” and “I lost 32, 42, 48, or whatever amount of weight” and is a website that’s called either: “beckysweightloss.com”, heathersweightloss.com or lisasweightloss.com, I think you get the picture. If it say’s phrases like that you can bet you will get scammed.
Please do not click on these ads they will steal your money.

They are different blogs but have the same photos on them. It’s a little ironic…don’t you think. They will all have the same type of URL and profile.
If you have been taken by one of these websites, please contact me and I will do my best to dismember their business “limb by limb”.

I am a huge fan of capitalism…HUGE FAN. Dr. Perricone has every right to sell anything he wants but I want you and the fans of the Oprah show to realize that because she has a huge audience it will be used to promote …for a price… certain products. Dr. Perricone is bought and paid for by MonaVie as for the evidence shown here.
This is not a slam against Dr. Perricone or the Acai Berry, it is just a statement to beware of the scams that come from the spoken word of a frequent guest on Oprah’s Show.
Also MonaVie is not a scam! It is a legitimate company that makes a good product. I want you to be discerning when it come to the “Acai Berry Diet Cleanses” that are scams.

Criticize Oprah and get slammed with Stupidity…
Posted by: | CommentsI can not believe the incredible stupidity in the e-mails I received concerning yesterday’s blog post.
People, you are totally off message here. I received e-mails about everything from what a great humanitarian to how cruel I was for saying that Oprah takes money for appearances on her show.
For all of you that didn’t get it the first time. It was about how when she speaks …the diet scam people go into overdrive. Her audience clings on every word she speaks. So when she says that Acai berry is the new Super food even though it’s been around for at least a million years…give or take. The scam artists are out there pedaling “Acai Berry Diet Cleanses” that will take hundreds of pounds off of you without doing anything else.
It’s just not true.
The “Acai Berry Diet Cleanses” don’t work! And to add insult upon injury, the percentage of Acai berry contained in “the clease” couldn’t help a field mouse.
If you purchase this stuff to lose weight you be an idiot. If you purchase the extracts or drinks containing high percentages of the Acai Berry for the anti-oxident effects than I commend you.
The “Acai berry” in my opinion is a great food to counteract the damages from free radicals to our body’s systems at the cellular level.
If you don’t get it you never will. If you do…more power to you.
