Would you buy a Fitness Program from this Woman?
Posted by: | Comments
Fat people can not own fitness franchises! How friggin’ ridiculous is that?! I’m all for entrepreneurial spirit but if you put a fat person in front of a table that is for a fitness based franchise you will go broke.
I understand that the target market for Curves is fat low self esteem woman but at some point you have to show that you make progress. You can’t just have a bunch of fat women rolling around the gym floor for years on end. There needs to be hope that there is fit healthy body in sight. Curves should showcase fat people as their poster children but former fat people who actually became fit.
The women in the photo is well over 200 lbs…and I’m being as polite as I can. What the hell can she teach me about being fit and living a healthy lifestyle…shes not walking the walk. All she looks like shes doing is eating and not even stepping foot into the place shes promoting. Or maybe Curves has feeding troughs in the locker rooms for after you roll around like a happy little piglet.
As a fitness professional that advocates at least a simple sembelence of fit and healthy living I can’t imagine that any business plan would advocate placing a woman as big as a house in front of a fitness franchise… now don’t get me wrong I don’t think “Barbie” should be out in front either, having her breasts knocking you over. Fitness is all relative…but it is very apparent that there is no fitness here…only fat. So I guess the new tagline for Curves is: ” Where the Cows come to Play” or “Fit to Fat…we don’t care!” Either way this is just wrong! Tell me what you think.
Is your health worth 60 seconds?
Posted by: | Comments
As one of the top fitness professionals in the world, I can tell you from experience that most people just do not give their health a second thought until it’s gone…or at death’s door!
It’s very sad, but very true.
Now I know you’ve heard this before. And I know that this message typically falls on deaf ears…but I’m hoping not this time.
Today I want you to do some soul searching.
First off, I hope this message finds you in good health. If it does, I want you to give me just 60 seconds of reflection. Sit back in your chair and give thanks for your well-being. Give serious consideration to what your life would be like without it. Imagine the effect on your family if you lost it.
Next, I want you to think about the old saying “you are what you eat.”
Truer words were never spoken, you know. So now give me another 60 seconds and think about what you’ve eaten over the last few days. Make a little list on a piece of paper or on your computer.
So if you are what you eat, what is YOUR body made of right now?
Have I struck a nerve yet?
You and I both know there’s nothing better than filling up on nature’s finest whole foods.
If you are what you eat doesn’t it make sense to build your body with nature’s finest?
By now I’m guessing I have your full attention.
Good.
Because I want you to know that while I would NEVER promise you a
miracle pill, I am going to tell you that you can get the nutrients of 25 whole vegetables, greens and fruits in caplet form.
Prograde Nutrition’s VGF 25+ is the culmination of 25 vegetable, green and fruit concentrates. Yes, they take those 25 whole foods and pack them into a heck of a caplet.
They even have specific formulas for men and women.
It’s an incredibly convenient way to build your body with better materials, so to speak.
And remember, Prograde’s formula uses whole foods. It is NOT a synthetic vitamin created in some lab somewhere.
Now the really cool thing about Prograde Nutrition is they were created by fitness pros for fitness pros. They created a company just so I had nutritional products I could recommend to you. Products I know you will get great benefit from.
In fact, their products are so in demand they are now shipping to the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand! Plus, they will soon be able to ship to just about anywhere in the world.
Yes, ALL their products are that good and they are that much in demand.

Obesity is the terrorist within in our own country
Posted by: | CommentsThere is a new movie that has won a bunch of awards at major film festivals across the country called “Killer at Large”.
“Killer at Large” comes from the makers of the acclaimed “This Divided State” and examines America’s deadly obesity “epidemic.”
Interview segments include commentary from obesity researchers, nutritionists and other experts, as well as former President Bill Clinton, consumer advocate Ralph Nader and playwright/filmmaker Neil La- Bute.
“Killer at Large” is not rated but features some disturbing imagery and adult language.
The DVD contains a producers commentary track featuring Executive Producer Shawn Talbott, Producers Bryan Young and Elias Pate and Co-Producer Patrick Waldrop. It also features a second commentary track with director Steven Greenstreet.
The disc boasts 6 deleted scenes, theatrical trailers, footage from their New York premiere with Chevy Chase and Chevy’s testimony before congress about childhood obesity.
All in all, it’s a packed disc and certainly one to look forward to.
Additionally, currently for sale is the abridged nutritional market version of the film. You can buy it from the Executive Producer here.
The Unabridged version will be out March 31 and is distributed by the Disinformation Company. I definitely recommend you buy this DVD, it is the best commentary I have seen so far. Check out the trailer below.
It’s no wonder people are so overweight. It’s no wonder people don’t have the flat stomach they crave.
