My good friend and very strong colleague has taken showmanship to the stratosphere when he decided to bend 16 d (or 16 penny nails) for my camera.  He also asked for a phone book and ripped a “U” shape in the middle of it. (which happens to be the hardest way to rip a phonebook).
Not only is David a very strong guy he also has a message to how bending things can help create better belief systems with in you.  Now I’m not saying you should go around bending everything in sight to believe in yourself but it sure does help your self esteem when you know you are strong enough to do so.
Watch the video below of my interview with The “Great” Iron Tamer David Whitley of Nashville, Tennessee.

Without a doubt BJ Gaddour has made a huge impact on the fitness industry and more specifically the bootcamp industry.  His “Workout Muse” Bootcamp Music product has helped many fitness professionals automate and teach better bootcamp classes while getting great results for their clients.

The one thing I really admire about BJ is that he is absolutely commited to the fitness industry and has vowed to help change the way we do fitness…and he has.

BJ has done want most “Trainers” only dream of doing.  He has partnered up with some great friends of mine to help trainers who have bootcamps to market them better and create a viable business model with “Bootcamp Blueprint” recently he has co-branded a live event called “Bootcamp Bootcamp” to allow trainers to learn vital marketing skills in an interactive environment.

I was able to snag BJ Gaddour for an interview at something called Fast track for Fitness Millions.  Watch the video below…it is quite entertaining.

One of my favorite people in the world to interview is someone I call “The King of Fitness” King Hoover, one because, he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to fitness but more importantly because he is the nicest guy in the fitness industry.

He has a really cool fitness radio show on a Christian Family Radio station on Sirius Satellite Radio that helps promote his ministry for making people feel better and get healthy. If you have ever seen the antithesis of Rocco Castellano this is him.  Check out this interview I did with King at Fast Track for Fitness Millions:

I just had some great R & R and played a little Golf in the process. Usually when I go out on the course I see a bunch of idiots getting so stressed out about their game it’s embarrassing.

I use Golf as a great stress relief and a chance to bond with my friends. I really don’t care what my score is as long as I get the ball in the air most of the time I’m happy. Golf is supposed to be fun.

I always joke around about how much I might suck but I can honestly say I will and can never suck as bad as Charles Barkley. Being a good professional basketball player does not translate into a good Golf Player. I found this video and thought I should share it with you if you think you suck at Golf.

Please feel free to comment…and tell me if you suck this bad.

Although I put on one of the greatest fitness branding summits in the world with more information then anyone has ever seen, I also decided to show some of the attendees the way I do Boot Camps. I’m not a big fan of workout stations, a shitload of equipment, or robotic music and tempo  ques, so I put all my fitness pro attendees through an askROCCO Bootcamp…Viva La Moutain Climbers…and negative push ups.

Most people think of me as an asshole…and I where that as a badge of honor because I don’t care for excuses and bullshit, but really why not make it a little easier on your clients. Allow them to only bring …water, a mat and maybe a towel.  The bootcamps that make participants bring their own equipment (like suitcases full of dumbbells, bands, and other stupid shit) create a little bit of a burden on participants and I believe limit the bootcamp owners revenue streams.

So here’s a little bit of what I put my fitness pros through and compared it to a station based program.

Tell me what you think…
