In under 24 hours it will be 2009. Over the past year, 2008 has seen history made with the first African-American to become President as well as the worst economic implosion America has witnessed since the Great Depression. Bailouts for rich people, and a: “sorry that’s the best we can do” for underprivileged or poor people.

Life is not without it’s roller coaster ride of reality. Challenges and victories are forever around us. In the challenges we need to celebrate the small victories and in those victories understand the humility that allows us the opportunity to rise again to accept another challenge.

The human spirit is filled with determination and will to overcome. What will you overcome in this New Year? It’s not my call. That’s your dilemma. For right now I want you to celebrate your life and everything that God has given you…and celebrate the small victories.

New years resolutions abound with weight loss and fitness goals.  The number one New Years resolution is still some variety of  “I want to lose weight”.  I  ask that you repel the inclination to run out and sign up for that Gym membership right now.

All the stupid people are thinking that it is a good move to get there ass moving in 2009 and think that a gym membership will do the trick. Gym memberships are a piece of paper and a deduction every month from your credit card.  I haven’t yet seen a credit card statement drag anyone’s ass to the gym yet. As part of your New Years resolution I would like you to promise to become and act a little smarter when it comes to your fitness and weight loss goals.

It is more important that you begin an exercise program on your own.  There are many program’s including several of mine that require no gym membership to get you started.  Consistency is the key, not a membership card.  When you feel you have made your fitness a priority and are comfortable with it becoming a healthy habit, then and only then would I advise you to spend your hard earned cash in these difficult economic times on a customer service deprived gym membership.  Good luck with your fitness goals and watch my video for a better understanding of why I’m asking you not to join a gym.

What’s a “good” carb?  Why are carbohydrates “bad” for me?  I was told I can’t eat Pasta any more…is that true?  How do you know what’s good for you any more?

I get bombarded with these questions on a daily basis. So I decided when Registered Dietitian and good friend Jayson Hunter came to visit that I would put this controversy to rest once and for all.  I know that there are a bunch of stupid people out there that just won’t let it die but that’s their issue.  For all the semi-intelligent and intelligent people that read my blog I have sat down with Jayson to ask him to dispel the truth…and the lies… that pertain to consuming carbohydrates.  As with all my talks with Jayson Hunter they are very informative, entertaining and downright awesome.

Now go get some “organic” popcorn and watch the video. “Organic” popcorn…come on people!…saturated in”Organic” butter with “Organic” salt sprinkled on top. Sometimes I just write this for myself ;)

I feel like a f@#kin’ broken record but I have received literally over 1500 e-mails telling me that people have been scammed by these assholes on the internet trying to push themselves off as women who have lost 30, 40 and 50 pounds using Wu Long Tea and Acai Berry Diet Cleanse as a double whammy against fat.

They are F@#kin’ liers and need to be shot in the head.  If I had my way I would hang these pieces of shit from a flag pole and let pit bulls chew on there faces.

Please do me a favor stop being ridiculously desperate for weight loss and get your ass working out on some plan.  If you hate me for telling the truth and don’t want to give me a dime.  I’m totally okay with that. You will still be fat then and that’s not good…so I recommend you go with one of my contemporaries in my blog roll.

I can’t even tell you how many e-mails I get a day asking me about how much water you should take in per day.  So I decided to make a video and post a little blurb about it here. Water is essential if you want to lose weight fast.

Make no mistake.  Water is literally more important than food when it comes to sustaining the body and it’s normal functioning. You could survive way longer without food than without water. Water is needed for every chemical reaction that involves, thought, movement, digestion and a whole lot more that I refuse to list because I think you get the picture.

I know I’ll get the stupid people saying something ridiculous about me condoning starving yourself or something totally off the subject…but that’s their issue and they can “Die in a fire!” for all I care. This blog post is about water not food.
