One of the Greatest Exercises to Build Strong Shoulders Without Weights
Posted by: | CommentsArm Circles…that’s right Arm Circles. Everyone looks at me like I have two heads…my hair’s on fire and I have snot as big as Texas shooting out of my nose whenever I tell people at my boot camps to do Arm Circles.
I get; “I haven’t done those since second grade”…”what kind of fitness expert would have adults do kiddie exercises”
Then I tell them to shut up and do the friggin exercise for sixty seconds one way and without stopping do 60 seconds the other way. Then do you know what I hear from the same idiots mouth!
“Holy Shit! I can’t believe how F**ckin hard these are.”…”These suck…I hate you.” “I can’t keep my arms up that long”
So much for kiddie exercises. Watch the video to learn how to perform Arm Circles properly.
Eating Healthy for the Holidays…and exercising
Posted by: | CommentsA question I get every year just around this time is… “What can I do to eat healthy during the crazy holiday season, what with all the parties, shopping and…did I say parties.”
Registered Dietician, Jayson Hunter sat down with me to discuss this very important weight loss question. He lays down his weightloss stradegies for the holidays and I put my two cents in…as always.
So watch the video and please leave your comments.
The best way to lose weight fast…
Posted by: | Comments
I enjoy eating foods that I like and will enjoy. I’m funny like that. I also like to be somewhat adventurous with my cooking but only if I know it will be at least semi-healthy. I use an online meal planning software that I think is the best stuff out there, especially when I need my clients to lose weight fast. When I began using it I thought that everyone should use it because it has helped so much with creating my healthy meals that I decided to offer it free to everyone who bought my Lose 30 in Thirty Fitness Program.
The really cool thing about the online meal plans is that YOU create the meal and it gives you a report card on how healthy the meal is. It also gives you how many calories you should be taking in and how each meal corresponds to that daily requirement.
This is where it has really helped me. As a fitness expert I’m pretty familiar on how to eat healthy but when I put my meals into Nutrition for Results I realized that I wasn’t getting my daily requirement of certain nutrients like Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin A. Check out the demo here.
I use this everyday to keep my eating habits as healthy as I can make them and the only way you can get this awesome Online Meal Planning software is if you invest in my Lose 30 in Thirty Fitness Program.
The Online Meal Planning usually costs $9.95 a month for a subscription from health club chains (click here if you think I’m lying) or personal trainers. 12 months would cost you $119.40 just for the meal planning. My Lose 30 in Thirty Fitness Program gives you my 30 day exercise plan plus a free 12 month subscription to Nutrition for Results
Have fun this Thanksgiving, don’t stuff yourself too much and try to enjoy this time of giving thanks. I know I will.
Fitness invention that boggles the mind…The Water Bird
Posted by: | CommentsYou think you’ve seen all the stupid things that could be invented in the name of fitness and exercise and then out of no where comes something that baffles the mind. The Waterbird is supposed to be a human powered hydrofoil. In the first video the inventor is have a merry old time with his Waterbird after he shows us how to put this thing together…I’m surprised he didn’t die of old age.
In the second video “real” people that bought this idiotic contraption almost drown trying to get it to float. I can’t make this stuff up and even if I did no one would believe me.
A Treadmill Desk…Please let this be a joke
Posted by: | CommentsI could not believe my eyes when I read my google alerts…I thought it was a joke, but no. This is a real desk created by Dr. James Levine, a doctor from the Mayo Clinic.
Is this what it has come to? Employees are now going to be walking at work for weight loss? Did anyone tell Dr. Levine that the body adapts to stress very quickly. So after the first eight hour day of walking you will have to walk eight and a half hours to expend the same amount of calories. Or you can increase the intensity and of course you’ll be getting so much work done while jogging.
It’s not a bad idea I just don’t think it’s practical. I could be wrong but I just don’t see a bunch of fat employees agreeing to walk on a treadmill all day at work. This is a link to the press release I received:

I would hate to see accidents like this one happening in the workplace
